1967 TOPPS SHORT BASEBALL CARD SET (1-533/609 NO 7TH SERIES) SOLD Presented here is probably the most popular and one of the most difficult sets from the 1960's. In 1967 Topps expanded the set from 598 to 609 cards, and the 7th series high number cards were issued in much lower quantity and are very difficult to find! This is a complete set from 1 - 533, there are no cards from 534 - 609, only the first six series in this set, a starter set if you will. The overall condition of this short set is excellent with many exmint and or near mint cards and a small amount that are in lesser condition. We have scanned 27 of the more important cards in the set and the commons are in similar condition. This set lists for $5,000 in Near mint condition and almost half the value is in the seventh series, so the near mint value of this set is probably close to $2,500. Since this set is in excellent condition, that would make the value about half that or about $1,250 with a break value much higher than that.
